Basic Purpose:
The Marketing Specialist will work with the HCIT Marketing and Sales teams to develop, execute and measure demand generation marketing programs for Quanum Practice and Enterprise Content Solutions. This will involve developing emails, sales tools, multi-media, and website content for lead generation. This requires a deep understanding of internal key customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing systems for lead generation coordination and reporting. The Marketing Specialist executes projects and marketing plans intended to maximize market segment exposure and produce sales leads based on the overall strategy provided by leadership. This includes event management, from planning to executing on customer and prospect-facing events, to maximize attendance and exposure, while driving brand awareness. The Marketing Specialist will create and improve all communication channels to prospects and clients via email, website, digital marketing and events. The ideal candidate is experienced in email marketing platforms, as well as CRM integration such as Marketo and Salesforce.com. This position will also help lead product launch activities and marketing communications for Quanum Practice and Enterprise Content Solutions Special projects related to customer retention and voice of customer (VOC) will be assigned based on direction from marketing leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute all facets of email and digital marketing campaigns, including content development and design, formatting, delivery, webinars, targeting and performance analysis
  • Develop marketing communications, as needed, for product launches and important announcements
  • Assist in development of product positioning, key benefits, and messaging that differentiate Quanum Practice and Enterprise Content Solutions and services in the marketplace
  • Drive and support segmentation and list management to optimize appropriate target audience
  • Conduct pre and post campaign analysis to determine the effectiveness of programs and publish findings, results, and recommendations to marketing leadership
  • Project manage all aspects of event planning—from identification of key events, to organizing teams to plan and execute on events to help drive brand awareness and customer retentionEngage in special projects such as customer retention andVOC initiatives to help drive retention and growth
  • Create marketing collateral and sales enablement tools to help differentiate QuestQuanum offerings
  • Develop creative campaigns, sales presentations, and other special projects
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Webinars (WebEx), Marketo, and Salesforce.com within the HCIT Marketing Team

Qualifications:
Education Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, English, Journalism or Marketing.

Work Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar technical/marketing environment
  • 2+ years of IT or healthcare marketing experience preferred

Other:

  • Event planning experience required—from event selection to managing budgets, timelines, and resources to plan and successfully execute events
  • Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross- functional teams
  • Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills – be able to plan well and meet deadlines
  • Superior writing, communication and problem resolution skills
  • Innovator – ability to develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience or ability in creating and integrating systems/databases and list management
  • Strong copy editing experience required, copywriting experience preferred
  • Demonstrated technical ability to use email campaign software (such as Marketo) and sales management software (such as Salesforce.com)
  • Computer skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel are required
